Configure Cookies Policy for Website in NotificationX #
NotificationX Cookie provides a user-friendly interface to control the appearance of the WordPress cookie notice, ensuring GDPR compliance and a seamless user experience for the website cookie policy. Follow the steps below to configure and customize your cookie notice effectively.
Step 1: Add A New Notification #
From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to the NotificationX dashboard. Under the Sources tab, click on the ‘Tambah baru’ button. Give a title to your notice & select ‘Cookie Notice’ as the Notification Type. By default, ‘GDPR’ will be selected as the Source. Click ‘Seterusnya’ to proceed.
Step 2: Choose A Design #
Here select a theme for your WordPress Cookie Notice from different design options in light and dark mode. Choose the position where the cookie notice will appear on the screen from the dropdown options. To access advanced design options, toggle the ‘Reka Bentuk Lanjutanbutang '.
Advanced Design allows you to customize the cookie notice further using CSS, button styles and other design options. Once you’re satisfied with the design, click ‘Seterusnya‘.
Step 3: Add & Customize Cookie Notice Contents #

Next, in the ‘Preference Center’ Section, add a ‘Title’ dan an 'Ikhtisar' detailing your cookie preferences. You can toggle the button to show or hide the ‘Google Privacy Policy’ link in your cookie notice. After that, customize the Button Texts for selecting options.
In the ‘Cookie List’ section, toggle the button to display the cookie list in the notice. You can also add a label for the cookie list and modify the button text. Once finished, click the ‘Seterusnya’ button to proceed.
Step 4: Configure Your Cookie Settings & Publish #
In the ‘Manager’ tab, toggle the buttons to enable or disable the ‘Force Reload’ and ‘Cookie Removal’ options. Additionally, set a Consent Expiry Date, if necessary, to determine when users will need to re-consent to your cookie policy.
In the ‘Cookie List’ section, customize the different categories of cookies by clicking the ‘Edit’ icon to modify the category name and description. To add a custom cookie, click the ‘+ Add New’ button and fill in the necessary details according to your preference for the new custom cookie.
In the cookie list, on a cookie, click the three-dot option on a single cookie notice and select Edit Cookie to update or Delete Cookie to remove. Then, click on the Seterusnya butang.
Here, customize your Visibility & Animation settings. Once you have configured your cookie notice, click the ‘Menerbitkan’ button to make it live and visible to your website visitors.
